Affiliations
NTI is proud to be affiliated with the following organizations:
National Association of Nutrition Professionals
NANP is a professional organization representing and advocating on behalf of holistically trained nutrition professionals. Originally founded in 1985, the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) is a non-profit business league that provides a foundation for holistically trained nutrition professionals to network, share expertise and deliver business-building ideas to members. Their mission is to enhance the integrity of the holistic nutrition profession through self-governance, educational standards and a rigorous code of ethics. NANP sets national standards through the administration of the Board Exam in Holistic Nutrition, available through the Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board (HNCB), the credentialing arm of the NANP. This is an exam that graduates of our Master Nutrition Therapy Program are qualified to take. The credential granted is a national board certification. www.nanp.org
Denver Urban Gardens
NTI participates in urban farming by offering garden plots to students, graduates, teachers and community members, and so is affiliated with Denver Urban Gardens. DUG assists neighborhoods with the planning, design, coordination and construction of local gardens around the city. Nutrition Therapy Institute donates the use of land for this community garden, which feeds over forty people. www.dug.org
